Boy, didnt we have loads of fun 5 years ago...
Only one show, but we had a full week party,
with some VERY special events:
A concert by John Mayall, without whom the Stones
might have never played together...
A concert by Mick Taylor, who was the Stones guitarist
for their most creative period, including recordings
of the albums "Let It Bleed", "Sticky Fingers",
"Exile On Main Street" or "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out"
(didn't YOU know this ?!!!)
After his concert, about 100 of us, from all continents,
even had dinner with Mick Taylor and his musicians!
A special party with live music and an open stage where every Glimmer musician
could grab a guitar or a bass (and yes, we also had a couple of drummers)
and play their hearts out for friends...
A website was up for a couple of years after this unforgettable week
and the good news is that it is back online here:
